Day 6 – Perth Bound!

We had a rest stop in Geraldton on our last day and enjoyed some ball games at Pages Beach before the long drive back to Perth.

Day 5 – Monkey Mia

We had a wonderful time at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort before heading south again for the start of the journey back to Perth. Our fifth stop at was at Galena Bridge, 50km east of Kalbarri.

Day 4 – Hamelin Pool to Denham

Not alot of driving on the fourth day. We were able to visit the wonderful Shell Beach before arriving at Denham.

Day 3 – Kalbarri to Hamelin Pool

Our third overnight stop was in Hamelin Pool in the Shark Bay region and we spent the following day visiting some nearby attractions.

Day 2 – Jurien Bay to Kalbarri

After arriving late in Kalbarri on the second day, we spend day 3 exploring the Murchison River and gorges of the National Park. Sadly, our motorhome wasn’t equipped for the unsealed roads on some parts so we missed out on a couple of highlights. An excuse to re-visit!

Who is behind the Lego travellers?
Our names are Lindsey Haggerty and Craig McCartney, we’re from Scotland and have been travelling in Australia since October 2013.  We arrived in Perth at the beginning of May and plan to stay a while longer.

Where did you come up with the Lego travellers idea?

It began at the end of 2012 when Craig discovered his old Lego collection in his mum’s attic, while clearing it out.  He enjoyed playing with Lego as a child and had always wanted a Lego village, so at almost 30 years of age, Craig started to buy all the pieces he couldn’t afford as a child, and re-discovered his old love for Lego!  During this time, he was thinking of things to get me for my 30th birthday and he came across a little…
