We had a wonderful time at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort before heading south again for the start of the journey back to Perth. Our fifth stop at was at Galena Bridge, 50km east of Kalbarri.
The dolphins were tricky to get a picture with, there were plenty of lazy pelicans resting on the beach!

Our only free camp of the trip and a great fishing spot by the river. We were lucky enough to catch some fish for dinner!
Not alot of driving on the fourth day. We were able to visit the wonderful Shell Beach before arriving at Denham.
We had a great day sunbathing and swimming at Shell Beach – one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from shells!

It was a bit of a struggle climbing through all the shells on the way back!
Arrived at our campsite in Denham in time for drinks before the sun set
Our third overnight stop was in Hamelin Pool in the Shark Bay region and we spent the following day visiting some nearby attractions.
The Hamelin Pool Stromatolites were an interesting highlight – the world’s oldest and largest living fossils!
The historic and interesting Shell Block Quarry site near the caravan park where we were staying
