The Scenic Rim

We headed south east towards our next destination, stopping at Boonah, Lake Moogerah and Warwick along the way.

Wallangarra

By mid March 2014, it was time to move on again, and we headed back to the coast – southward bound for the next part of the adventure!

Stanthorpe

We arrived in Stanthorpe, the coolest region in the state, and found work picking tomatoes at one of the local farms for a couple of weeks. During our time there we attended the annual Apple & Grape Harvest Festival and spent a day at Girraween National Park.

Final Days in Surfers

After 3 months on the Gold Coast, we finally left at the end of February 2014. On our last morning, the Gold Coast Bulletin published our first ever newspaper article!  Take a look at our News Section and read the full story!

Springbrook National Park

Craig treated Lindsey to a surprise birthday trip to the Springbrook National Park in January 2014.  He had booked a rainforest retreat with a luxury cabin!

Christmas in Paradise

We loved spending a summery Christmas and New Year in Surfers Paradise.  There were lots of festive activities taking place and we enjoyed our first Christmas Day on the beach!

Gold Coast Theme Parks

We put job hunting to one side for a while and treated ourselves to an unlimited pass to a few of the amazing theme parks on the Gold Coast – Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild.

Back in Surfers!

We decided to stop in Surfers Paradise again – the land of surf, sea, sun and sand!
