South Coast

Near the start of April, we made our way towards South Coast NSW. From Wollongong we stopped in Jervis Bay, Batemans Bay, Merimbula & Eden – before crossing the border into Victoria.

Blue Mountains

We spent a day exploring the beautiful and scenic Blue Mountains National Park

Palm Beach (Summer Bay)

We took the opportunity to visit Palm Beach, in the northern suburbs of Sydney – otherwise known as ‘Summer Bay’, used in the filming of popular Aussie soap opera, Home & Away

East Coast Road Trip

Part 2

By mid March 2014, we crossed the border back into New South Wales, after spending a few months in Queensland, and began to head back down the east coast again – ready for our next big road trip!

Wallangarra

By mid March 2014, it was time to move on again, and we headed back to the coast – southward bound for the next part of the adventure!

Byron Bay

We spent a couple of days in Byron Bay and enjoyed a trip to Cape Byron, the most easterly point of mainland Australia

Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour was worth a quick stop, and we couldn’t leave without getting a picture of the Big Banana!

East Coast Road Trip

Part 1

We continued up the east coast in our campervan, after leaving  Sydney, and stopped off in Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Karuah, Port Macquarie, Gleniffer & Sawtell.

Sydney

The beginning of our travels around Australia in October 2013.  We spent a week in the state capital of Sydney, exploring the city and amazing beaches, including the iconic Bondi Beach!
