We arrived in Stanthorpe, the coolest region in the state, and found work picking tomatoes at one of the local farms for a couple of weeks. During our time there we attended the annual Apple & Grape Harvest Festival and spent a day at Girraween National Park.

We visited the city again in August 2013 to attend the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and managed to squeeze in a bit more sightseeing!
